When you work with Jerry, you work directly with a licensed insurance brokerage. We hold the licenses listed below, each issued by the relevant state’s Department of Insurance. We do the licensed work ourselves, from comparing quotes to placing your policy and canceling existing coverage. We’re appointed with insurers under each state’s rules.

Insurance companies like Progressive, GEICO, or Travelers underwrite your policy and pay your claims. You can go to each one directly, but that means filling out the same forms over and over, comparing quotes you’ve collected on your own, and figuring out the fine print without much help. Jerry is licensed to do that work for you: comparing 100+ insurers in one place, lining up quotes side-by-side, and helping you sign up with the one you pick. Once you have a policy, claims and coverage are handled by the insurance company. And Jerry sticks around: we re-shop at renewal, watch for rate changes, and make sure your coverage still fits as your life changes. That ongoing work is part of what we’re licensed to do.

Each state’s Department of Insurance is the government agency that licenses and regulates insurance producers operating in that state. They set the educational, financial and conduct standards we have to meet, and they’re the authority any consumer can turn to with a complaint or question. So you don’t just have to take our word for any of this: every license number below is public record.
